Valley Center Stage proudly presents
Zelda, a play by William Luce about the life of Zelda Fitzgerald; F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife and muse.
.
.Denise Paulette, an actress and Snoqualmie resident, is once again performing her one woman show, “Zelda” by William Luce at North Bend’s Valley Center Stage Theatre on March 19, 20, and 21st. The first show on the 19th will be a benefit performance for American Cancer Society’s RELAY FOR LIFE.
“Zelda” is the compelling story of Zelda Fitzgerald. As the wife of F. Scott, she found herself his muse for what Scott wrote about and lived: The Jazz Age. In and out of sanitariums for 17 years, Zelda struggled not only with her mental illness but also the common human threads of unrequited love, growing old, lost dreams and ultimately her own mortality.
As a writer, painter and ballet dancer, “Zelda” is her story of passion, wit, determination, and living in one’s art no matter the situation.
The performances on Friday & Saturday begin at 7:30pm; Sunday matinee is at 2:00 pm. Pieces of Zelda’s artwork and writings will be on display for the reception before the performance.
Admission is $12.50 /adults; $10.00/seniors. Tickets can be purchased online or reserved by phone. For more information go to www.valleycenterstage.org or phone 425-831-5667
