Classes for Young Actors in Two New Locations

NEW LOCATIONS! - MAPLE VALLEY & SNOQUALMIE - Our Young Actors program has opened a second location in Maple Valley at the Maple Valey Creative Arts Center, 23220 Maple Valley Hwy, SE Suite 15 MV (425) 432-0810 and Snoqualmie at CASCADE VIEW ELEMENTARY 34816 SE Ridge St. Snoqualmie WA. We also offer these workshops in North Bend at Valley Center Stage.

Classes meet Tuesday afternoons in North Bend and Thursday afternoons in Maple Valley and Friday afternoons (3 sessions only) at CVES in Snoqualmie

Playing theater games helps to draw out the natural intelligence and humor inherent in each student, creating opportunities to explore their unique abilities and explore their own treasure house of creativity.

This inspires an "I can!" attitude that stays with them long after they've left the stage.

The Class will be made up of Theater Games and will introduce young actors to our weekly ongoing Friday after-school workshop. Classes can be attended by parents as well and if you decide to stay, you may be asked to play!

*Start dates may be postponed if minimum registration is not met at the time of the first class. Your registration holds your place -You will not be charged until class actually begins.

Starting March 19th

Cost: $120

This class will introduce students to games that will give them the ability work as a group on stage as well as introduce them to the building blocks of Improv, ensemble work (group agreement) who (relationships, occupations etc.), what (the action of scenes) and where (locations of scenes).

As we get familiar with stage techniques, we will work on story theater scripts and work towards producing small mini-plays in the form of Story Theater.
